Advising
If you are a history major, you will be assigned an advisor from among the department faculty.
You must meet your advisor every semester during the advising period in order to obtain your
alternative pin numbers required for registration. Failure to do so may jeopardize your ability
to register or significantly delay graduation.
When meeting your advisor, bring the following information:
- An unofficial degree audit downloaded
from Central Pipeline.
- An advising sheet completed to the best of your ability. New forms are available on the
Advising Forms page.
- A list of the courses you would like to take.
Faculty members post their office hours on their doors. Schedule your appointment early!
